Povs is not a fan of writing bios because self-glorification bothers her...but here we are and the internet DEMANDS KNOWLEDGE OF HER PAST!

By all counts, she is probably one of the cooler people you know and for that reason alone you are jealous; it’s only natural. It’s hard not to be intimidated by the studio apartment and three cats. Her knowledge of Sailor Moon rivals most tweens, Hot Topic is her favorite store and if you put a tub of Pillsbury’s Fun Fetti frosting in front of her, she will eat all of it.  She is 37.  Age does not matter to the mythical creature called Povs. She only cares about open bars at weddings…and if it’s cash, she will take your present back. Oh … she cares about this podcast too.

She is an LA-based standup comedian, writer, and actress who re-located by way of Chicago, IL.  A Native New Yorker who studied overseas, she holds credits from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Camden Fringe Festival. She was a Funny Women’s New Comedian of the Year Semi-Finalist (wondering how many more years she can use this credit?! haha!), participated in the NYC She-Devil Comedy Competition, and is the co-creator/producer/writer of the web series Super Narcoleptic Girl.  She holds a Master of Performance from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London, England, and a Bachelor’s from Hofstra University on Long Island…She also likes to hold gold shiny statues named OSCAR, EMMY, or TONY.
